Terms of Service

Effective date: June 11, 2026 · Last updated: June 11, 2026

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Found-IT ("Found-IT", "we", "us") and our conversational assistant, Stash, available through messaging platforms such as WhatsApp and Telegram. By messaging Stash or otherwise using the service, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

1. The service

Found-IT is a conversational inventory: you tell Stash where you put your physical things, and you can ask later where they are. Stash uses AI language models to understand your messages, file item locations, and answer your questions. The service is provided through third-party messaging platforms and requires an account on at least one of them.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old — or older if the messaging platform you use or the law of your country requires it (WhatsApp, for example, requires a minimum age of 13, and 16 in some regions) — and able to form a binding agreement. By using the service you confirm that you meet these requirements.

3. Your content and our license

The information you store with Stash — your items, places, and messages — is yours. You grant us a limited license to store and process this content solely to operate, maintain, and improve the service, as described in our Privacy Policy. You are responsible for the content you submit and must have the right to share it.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

We may suspend or terminate access for violations of these rules.

5. Messaging platforms

Your use of WhatsApp is also governed by the WhatsApp Terms of Service, and your use of Telegram by the Telegram Terms of Service. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or responsible for these platforms, and we are not liable for their availability, message delivery, or changes to their policies that affect the service.

6. AI-generated answers

Stash's answers are generated by AI from the information you provided. They may occasionally be incomplete, out of date (for example, if an item was moved without telling Stash), or wrong. The service is a memory aid, not a guarantee — always verify before relying on an answer for anything important, and do not use the service as your only record of valuables, documents, or safety-critical items.

7. Fees

The service is currently offered free of charge. We may introduce paid plans or premium features in the future; if we do, we will give you clear notice, and continued use of any paid feature will require your agreement to the applicable pricing terms. Your messaging platform or carrier may charge you for data.

8. Intellectual property

The service — including the Found-IT name, the Stash character, our software, and our website — is owned by us or our licensors and protected by intellectual-property laws. These Terms do not grant you any rights to our brand or software beyond the limited right to use the service.

9. Termination

You may stop using the service at any time, and you can have your data deleted as described in the Privacy Policy. We may suspend or terminate the service, or your access to it, for breach of these Terms, to comply with law, or upon reasonable notice if we discontinue the service. Sections 3, 6, 10, 11, and 12 survive termination.

10. Disclaimers

The service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied — including fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and uninterrupted availability. We do not warrant that Stash's answers will be correct or that your data will never be lost; keep your own copies of anything critical.

11. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Found-IT and its operators will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data, or the value of lost or misplaced physical items, arising from your use of (or inability to use) the service. Our total aggregate liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim or US $20.

12. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Israel, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Disputes will be resolved in the competent courts of Tel Aviv, Israel, unless mandatory consumer-protection law in your country of residence provides otherwise.

13. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the updated version on this page and revise the "Last updated" date above; material changes will be communicated through the service. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
